CAMERON STEMLER
Cameron Stemler is a multimedia artist creating unique and imaginative works inspired by forms from nature and speculative fiction. His work features narrative sculptures of nature, outer space, and the extraterrestrial. With fire and imagination, he breathes life into creatures and objects of other worlds and faraway futures. Each piece is an original, one-of-a-kind creation, made entirely by hand.
Cameron works primarily in glass and metal, and has developed his craft for over ten years since his studies at Ohio Wesleyan University and the Art Institute of Chicago. During his career in Chicago, he assisted in metal and glass production for local studios, artists, and jewelry designers, as well as adding to his universe of sculptures, and starting a silver jewelry collection. He works and teaches at The Furnace Glassworks in Lakewood, and exhibits his work at Kanon Gallery in Lakewood, The Burd’s Nest Gallery in Arvada, and other venues around Colorado.
