Please join us this Friday as Kanon welcomes back Carlos Michael Finn, one of the original founding members of Kanon. We are so excited to have him showing with us again and love his new work.
“As a young boy, I was always mesmerized by Norman Rockwell paintings, Looney Tunes, and Merrie Melodies cartoon characters. Some of my first drawings were of Speedy Gonzales and Elmer Fudd. My favorite was Popeye. Often times eating spinach and exerting sporadic energy throughout my neighborhood!
This series of paintings is reflective on tuning in on inner self, and tapping in on individual psyche. But also to remind you to embrace a more goofy, looney side of your personality and Toon Out!”
