“My video games series examines the beauty and simplicity of 8-bit imagery from classic video games, as recreated with candy. This series expands on that in a more surreal manner, allowing the pixels to escape their bounds and float off into space. The 8-bit technology meant that the characters were more basic, but limitations often make people more creative and I believe that’s why these characters have become so iconic.”
