“I believe that there is beauty in the simplest of things when you take the time to look around at your environment. Through my work, I hope that the viewer comes away with a sense of space; a particular time and place worth keeping in your mind.
I put emphasis in my work on artistic fundamentals: line, color, texture, composition and perspective. The quality of the color and tonal value produced in the work enables me to express my idea of reality versus actuality; the relationship between documenting a scene and the memory associated with that moment.
It is my goal to remind the viewer of the beauty that you may pass by everyday. I enjoy capturing these uncomplicated moments in time.”
